1248 (Prudhoe) Squadron

Following a number of letters sent to local business in the Prudhoe area, briefly explaining the aims of the Squadron and talking about some of the exciting activities open to our Cadets. The Commanding Officer, Flight Lieutenant Peter Towns was contacted by two groups, SCA Hygiene Products & Thompson’s of Prudhoe.These groups have expressed their thanks to the staff of Prudhoe Squadron for their hard work, and have also thanked the Cadets for the huge contribution they make to the local community. To show their support of the Air Cadets, both groups have made considerable donations to Squadron funds .

These contributions will be used to provide activities for Cadets on the Squadron and will also help to finance the Squadron’s summer camp.

Flight Lieutenant Towns said “I would like to thank both groups on behalf of all at Prudhoe Squadron, and would like to add a personal thank you for your continued support of this Squadron and its Cadets.”
